Sevenoaks Primary School currently has 3 teaching assistant vacancies and 3 Midday Supervisor vacancies.
 
 
1:1 Teaching Assistant – Key Stage 1 (30 hours a week -  term time only)
 
Supporting a child with behavioural needs as soon as possible, the successful candidate will have:
  • experience working within a school environment
  • an SEN background and will, ideally, have supported a child with similar needs
  • the ability to work under the direction and guidance of the class teacher and Inclusion Manager, to assist in the educational, emotional and social development of the child
  • the ability to work in partnership with other colleagues within a caring, supportive and hardworking team.
  • Salary:  KR3 (equates to approx £10,000 p.a.)
 
 
1:1 Teaching Assistant - Key Stage 2 (25.5 hours a week – term time only)
 
Supporting a child with learning, speech and language needs from January 2015, the successful candidate will have:
  • experience working within a school environment
  • an SEN background and will, ideally, have supported a child with similar needs
  • the ability to work under the direction and guidance of the class teacher and Inclusion Manager, to assist in the educational, emotional and social development of the child
  • the ability to work in partnership with other colleagues within a caring, supportive and hardworking team.
  • Salary:  KR3 (equates to approx £8,500 p.a.)
 
Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant (27.5 hours per week – term time only)
 
The successful candidate will:
  • work under the direction and guidance of the class teacher
  • have the ability to work in partnership with other colleagues within a caring, supportive and hardworking team
  • have previous experience working as a teaching assistant, or within a primary school setting
  • Salary:  KR3 - KR5 (equates to approx £9,500 - 12,500p.a.)
