Gold Book - We All Shine!

Every Friday afternoon Phase One holds a very special Gold Book Assembly.

This is a time for us to come together to celebrate the successes from the week gone by and share some of the learning we have been doing in our classes.

As part of this assembly, we share the names of the children that have been chosen to be in the Gold Book. Each Class Teacher chooses two children from their class who have had a particularly good week. For example, a child could be chosen because they have been very polite or helpful. They may also be chosen for a specific piece of work or because they have been a really good friend.

The children who were in the Gold Book this week were:

Leopards:
Oscar - for being such a wonderful member of Leopard cubs, good luck in your new school!
Aurelia - for showing a great 'love of learning' when writing three amazing facts about Pirates

Lions:
Finley - for engaging so well in all our activities & doing some great writing
Harry - for being so conscientious & producing lovely work
(Riley - for collecting his Gold Book Award from last week, for blending words on his own & reading with such confidence)

Tigers:
Fred - for always being so kind & helpful to everyone, he is such a role model
Caitlin - for making great progress with learning her phonic sounds

1A:
Sheridan - for her 'love of learning' this week by choosing to catch up on the learning she had missed when she wasn't at school
Jake - for really persevering with his writing & putting lots of extra details in his story

1B
Arthur - for being an amazing member of 1B - we will all really miss you!

1C:
Everyone in 1C - for persevering & being so creative with their portraits of Queen Victoria

WELL DONE!
